:: DARKNESS:: Every sound in the dark is very intimidating for Dawnpaw. She cannot sleep in the dark so she sleeps after all of her tasks for the day is done. Owls is another fear, Dawnpaw fears of being swooped up by one in the dark.

[ Kit-hood ]
As a Kit, Dawnkit's mother, Greenrose was neglectful and depressed. Her eyes were always drooping and she was sluggish. Dawnkit had two sisters, Flowerkit and Spottedkit. Growing up, Dawnkit, Spottedkit, and Flowerkit faced hardships one of them was her mother was always in and out of the nursery for Poppy seeds. Greenrose always looked at Dawnkit with a hopeful eye. Soon after, when Dawnkit and her littermates were 5 moons old, Greenrose died of a Poppy seed overdose. Dawnkit's father, Scarletclaw, did not care about his kits as well as Greenrose. And he most certainly did not care about Greenrose's death. Dawnkit, Flowerkit, and Spottedkit took care of themselves and decided to become rivals of significance. a half-moon later Flowerkit and Spottedkit died due to eating a poisonous piece of fresh-kill. Dawnkit was alone in the nursery that day. Remembering all of the times she spent with her deceased sisters and mother. When Dawnkit became 6 Moons old a terrible flood invaded CloverClan so her apprentice ceremony was held back. Dawnkit was saved from drowning by her father, Scarletclaw. He droened in the process however. After a quarter-moon of finding a new camp, Dawnkit finally gets her apprentice name, Dawnpaw. She realized she had a meaning to continue living. Dawnpaw traveled to the Star Lake without her mentor, or a Medicine cat. She was going to make herself drown and meet her family in StarClan but, a cat named Winter was spying on her and saved her from her fatal death. Winter grabbed Dawnpaw by the scruff and carried her back to CloverClan camp. The tom tells her not to say a word about his heroic actions. Dawnpaw took her mind off of Winter but kept him at the tip of her tail.

[ Apprenticeship ]
Dawnpaw is very clumsy at hunting, due to her tortoiseshell fur, scaring the prey away by stepping on shriveled leafs or fallen sticks. Her mentor doesn't mind though. Dawnpaw is extremely loyal She doesn't really pay much attention to gathering but she likes chatting it up and passing rumors around to other Clans. She sometimes sneaks two pieces of prey from the fresh-kill pile if she is hungrier than usual then takes them to the dirt-place to eat them, not noticing the disgusting scent. Dawnpaw usually welcomes new apprentices and tries to be as friendly as possible unless they have rude manners. Dawnpaw is going to do whatever it takes to become a warrior because it is what she is living for due to the unexpected deaths of her family.
